Pre-ordered goods are always a good thing because once it gets rare, people start to get crazy and pay whatever amount to get their hands on that exclusive item. Mass Effect 2 pre-order DLC codes are one of those DLCs that people are paying so much even though the seller got it for free.

"Here’s all I have to say: I spent hours strip-mining planets so I could gain enough space minerals to upgrade the medical bay in my ship so I can have surgery on my face that would eliminate the scarring that comes along with making "Renegade" decisions. Is it too early to decree a Game of the Year?"

The Globe and Mail hammers Ubisoft’s actioner for its gratuitous, mindlessly vulgar, and wholly unsophisticated humour. From the story:
It feels as though the dialogue was written with 14-year-old boys in mind. Actually, strike that. It feels like it was written by a 14-year-old boy. . . .
Don’t get me wrong; I’m all for a few good sex jokes now and then, but the dirty humour on display here is less Superbad and more, well, just super bad. Dirty can be funny, but there needs to be something subtle, clever, and intelligent beneath, and No More Heroes 2’s wit is wholly lacking these three traits.
Titles like this have effectively dulled any shock or frustration I might feel that non-gamers still view the medium as something intended for pubescent boys. Who can blame them when a supposedly "mature" game seems targeted directly at these children?
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is, despite strong play mechanics and nostalgia inducing mini-games, a step backward for video games. Its gratuitous, mindlessly vulgar, and wholly unsophisticated humour is simply intolerable. I’m shocked that anyone over the age of 16 would even sign off on it.

Jeff Marchiafava of Gameinformer writes: "I’ve been playing the 360 multiplayer demo of Bad Company 2 the past couple nights, and for me it falls into the category of being stupidly fun. Not stupid in a simpleminded way (strategy plays more of a role in BC2 than most FPSes I’ve played) but rather so fun that my enjoyment of it just plain stupid – how else can I explain spending countless hours on a one level, one mode demo, when I have so many other amazing games to play?
But my enjoyment of the demo comes as a bit of a surprise, because I didn’t enjoy the original Bad Company’s multiplayer all that much. I played DICE’s Battlefield 1943 first, and after trying out Bad Company for a modest number of hours, I found myself heading right back to World War 2. Which got me wondering – maybe simple is better. "
