John Mayer Jams at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Music Fest
After a bit of a musical hiatus, John Mayer is back in action at the 2013 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Music Festival at Fair Grounds Race Course on Friday (April 26). The “Clarity” singer rocked a button-down denim shirt, jeans, and shades as he strummed away on an acoustic and an electric guitar. Though he missed last year’s fest following a throat condition, the 35-year-old musician told crowds, “Sorry we missed you last year. Thank you for coming back and checking us out. “Sticking a Grateful Dead cover into his performance, John hinted the atmosphere of his upcoming summer tour, telling the audience, “It’s going to be getting incredibly groovy and funky over the next couple of years. ”
