With awards season in full swing, the 2013 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards recognize the best in artist-driven filmmaking in Santa Monica on Saturday night (February 23), the day before the 85th Academy Awards. Hosted by Andy Samberg, the beachfront tent will be chock full of celebs as the top talent from independent film and Hollywood alike are celebrated. Presenters at the more laid-back show include Amy Poehler, Dennis Quaid, Dermot Mulroney, Ellen Page, Emily Mortimer, Jason Schwartzman, Laura Dern, Matthew McConaughey, Jeremy Renner, Zoe Saldana, and Brian Cranston.
