Oscar Pistorius: Killing Reeva Was An Accident!
He?s been trying his best to absolve himself of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp last week, but Oscar Pistorius has an uphill battle on his hands. The Olympic runner appeared in court earlier today (February 19) and insisted that his shooting of Steenkamp was the result of him thinking she was an intruder. Oscar?s lawyer read his statement, noting that Pistorius felt vulnerable because he was in bed without his prosthetic legs, and that?s why he fired shots into the bathroom, where Reeva was hit three times and died. When he realized Steenkamp wasn?t in bed with him, Oscar claims, ?It filled me with horror and fear. ?However, the prosecution claims Pistorius did have his legs on and was not in bed when he fired the shots. His motive is being described as, ?I want to kill,? given that they?d just had a shouting match prior to going to bed.
