And the starmometer rises!!! Oooo yes, chillins. Daniel Radcliffe is playing with a different kind of wand these days. Storming past his Harry Potter persona, the actor took on an amazingly serious role as Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings. Revolving around a murder that brings fellow writers together, Daniel described the film at the Sundance Film Festival with zeal and pride. But our favorite part??? When he dished on the gay sex!! Fulfilling our dreams, he said: “We were able to hang out a little bit on set and get to know each other a little bit, which I think is important when you’re doing a scene so intimate. You have to feel like you’re both in it together. It was something new. But you know what, we shot that whole scene in maybe an hour and a half so it was incredibly fast-paced. I didn’t really have time to stop to think and worry about it. [The director] was very helpful in furnishing me with a lot of graphic detail of what I would be experiencing at the various stages. “An hour and a half, huh?? Oh how you never cease to amaze us. 😉 As you know, we’ve been anticipating this film for QUITE some time now. Danny Rad as a gay Beat poet?? Ummm. . chya! [Image via WENN. ]
