And Then There Were 9: Sherri Shepherd Axed From “DWTS”
After making it into the top ten of season 14’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Sherri Shepherd has now said her goodbyes to the dance floor. On Tuesday night’s episode (April 10), “The View” co-host and her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, were eliminated even though they managed to stay out of the bottom spot after last week’s episode. When the news was announced, the 44 year-old told “DWTS co-host” Brooke Burke Charvet, “I just what to say thank you for letting me live a dream I’ve always had. I have the most amazing partner in Val Chmerkovskiy and I had the most amazing time. I want to say to every person out there: The thing that scares you the most, run towards it, because it’s so amazing on the other side. “Disney Channel star, Roshon Fegan, also scored one of the highest scores from the judges, but ended up sharing the bottom two with Shepherd. Luckily, Fegan will be returning to the ballroom next week with the other seven remaining contestants in the running, which include Gavin DeGraw, Maria Menounos, Jaleel White, Gladys Knight, Donald Driver Melissa Gilbert and William Levy.
