1. Carlsberg is brewed in Copenhagen, Denmark
2. Danish, not Dutch

Carlsberg workers in Copenhagen are on strike.
Copenhagen is in DENMARK.
Amsterdam is in The Netherlands. The Netherlands is also called Holland, and the people there are called Dutch.
People from Denmark are called Danes.
.
Why are Americans so terrible at geography?

LUCKY they had it for all these years. don’t know health benefit situation for Amsterdam or why they did it. hmmm. Where they drinking away the profits or do the workers need some sort of worker’s compenstation ’cause they all need early retirement because they all develop cirrohsis of the liver? Are driving home drunk and causing lawsuits for the company? If the comp. does pay for healthcare, it is gone up because of the effects of heavy drinking on the body? just so many to chose from……hmmm I CHOOSE #1-THE PROFITS ARE BEING DRUNK AWAY, SINCE THEY LET THEM DRINK AT LUNCH. Now these workers probably just have liquid lunches. Wonder what the company got away with paying these workers before? (we pay below min. wage- $1.50 an hour but it is made up with all the beer you can drink all day. ‘l’ll start now’ ) Probably the first walkout they have had.

The brewery is in Amsterdam,Holland. Carlsberg is from Denmark.
I think they should ban beer at the workplace. I don`t think it’s normal to drink beer when you are working! So I agree with Carlsberg.

Wow, I can’t even imagine anything like that…coolers of beer for you to drink throughout the day. How did they get anything done?

The Carlsberg brewery is in Copenhagen, Denmark.
(and this is by far not the only brewery where workers are allowed to drink during shifts)
