All eyes on US, Mexico in semis (Boston Globe)
Mexico and the United States are a game away from what Gold Cup tournament organizers would consider an ideal final. Both won quarterfinals, Mexico over Costa Rica (1-0 in extra time) in Houston yesterday and the US over Panama (2-1) at Gillette Stadium Saturday, increasing interest as the teams head to Chicago for the semifinals (Thursday) and final (Sunday).
