U.S. freight shipments with Canada and Mexico reached a record high in 2006 (The Trucker)
WASHINGTON — Goods valued at more than $866 billion crossed the U.S. border in trade with Canada and Mexico in 2006, 9.7 percent higher than the previous record set in 2005, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS).
