Man who helped created ‘Underdog’ cartoon dies
BOSTON (AP) ? The co-creator of the cartoon “Underdog,” the mild-mannered shoeshine boy who turned into a caped superhero to rescue his girlfriend, Sweet Polly Purebred, has died. William Watts Biggers was 85.
