Christina Applegate Says Goodbye to ?Up All Night?
First the NBC comedy switched its format from three-cam to a live audience, and now ?Up All Night? is losing its star Christina Applegate. According to Deadline, the blonde beauty released a statement on Friday (February 8) explaining her reasoning?s behind her departure. ?It?s been a great experience working on Up All Night, but the show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors,? Christina explained. ?Working with Lorne Michaels has been a dream come true and I am grateful he brought me into his TV family. I will miss the cast, producers and crew, and wish them the best always. ?NBC did not comment on the situation but some sources stated that the network is planning to proceed with the series and may be eyeing ?Friends? star Lisa Kudrow as Applegate?s replacement.
