After a slew of complaints and lawsuits, the United States Government has finally put the kibosh on their full-body scanners!Known unaffectionately as ‘naked image’ scanners, the x-rays provided TSA employees with a nearly perfect naked image of people passing through security. We say nearly, of course, because no one is perfect!Opponents of the machines have claimed this ‘free show’ violated their right to privacy. For now, everyone will have to be patted down, but airports are hoping to replace the controversial machines with millimeter-wave scanners. The new technology will reportedly do away with the need for images at all!The computers themselves will determine who is and isn’t a threat. Which will be much safer for everyone. Right?Oh no! It’s Skynet! The machines are in charge! And they can see our underwear! They won’t respect us at all! LOLz!
