“30 Rock” Stars Gather for Farewell Season Celebration
Having enjoyed years of success alongside one another, the stars of the hit NBC show ?30 Rock? gathered in New York City on Wednesday (October 3) to celebrate the farewell seventh season on the eve of its premiere. Tina Fey, Katrina Bowden and Jane Krakowski brought their beauty to the Entertainment Weekly and NBC hosted event while Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer looked dapper upon arrival. Speaking to press at the event, Tina opened up to the Huffington Post about where she and the rest of the writers attempted to get inspiration for the finale. “We started having a conversation of what we wanted our final images to be. It got really emotional, so we kind of backed off it. Then we said — every day at lunch our writers take a little break and watch a TV show and most times it’s ‘Honey Boo Boo’ or ‘Breaking Amish’ and I was like, ‘Guys, maybe we should start watching some classic TV finales. “Turning to another NBC hit, Fey continued: “We tried to watch the ‘Frasier’ finale, and one of our writers started crying when Frasier was taking his dad’s chair out. He was like, ‘I don’t know what’s happening to me!’ So we’re not talking about it. We’re kind of afraid to talk about it. “?30 Rock? premieres Thursday, October 4th, at 8/7c.
