Alabama voters to decide on Medicaid, prison support
MONTGOMERY, Alabama (Reuters) – Alabama voters will decide on Tuesday whether to transfer more than $437 million from a state trust fund to shore up the state general fund, primarily to support prisons and Medicaid payments. Alabama is required by law to have a balanced budget.
