Topless Madonna Shows her Support for Obama
While President Barack Obama was accepting his nomination for the Democratic Party in Charlotte, North Carolina, Madonna was lending her support in New York last night (September 6). The 54 year-old singer performed in concert at Yankee Stadium and took the opportunity to express her feelings on the upcoming election. She told fans, “I’ve seen some scary things. I’ve seen people being locked up and put in jail for speaking their minds, for being gay, for not practicing the right religion, for not dressing the proper way. “Later in the night, she added, “”Thank God for Michelle Obama,” along with, “Tonight I’m not going to show my a–. I’m going to show my feelings. How’s that for living dangerously?” She then ripped off her shirt to show “OBAMA” plastered across her lower back. Madonna has been supporting the president since his run in 2008 and has been famously involved in other political activity, including the support of Pussy Riot members in Russia who were jailed.
