Keeping the fans interest piqued, a new bonus clip was released today (August 22) for “The Avengers” ahead of the September 25th Blu-ray and DVD release. The short clip is part of a longer featurette, which will be included on the Blu-ray/DVD. It focuses on Chris Evans’ character, Captain America and Mark Ruffalo’s character, The Hulk. Writer/Director Joss Whedon talks about the strengths of the two actors and how they embody their superhero roles. Fellow castmates also provide their input on the pair. “With Captain America, it’s a whole new ballgame because it’s a whole new era, and [Chris] really did an amazing job,” Joss explains. “The Avengers” also stars Robert Downey Jr. , Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgaard, Cobie Smulders and Clark Gregg.
