After two recent departures from its judging table, rumors are buzzing regarding who will take the coveted ?American Idol? judging seats. Mariah Carey has officiially signed on for next season, but now Fox is looking towards Nick Jonas to possibly fill a vacant seat. On Saturday (August 4) the 19-year-old pop star tweeted, ?The rumors are true. . . I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol, and it would be a dream come true if it happens. #nickonidol. ? After breaking the news, the hash tag #nickonidol started trending, which caused Nick to tweet, ?Loved seeing all your amazing response to #NickOnIdol keep it coming!?As previously reported by GossipCenter, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler both called it quits just weeks ago and now multiple big-named celebs have been tossed around as possible options.
