Melissa Gilbert: “DWTS” Results Episode No-Show
After hitting her head on the dance floor during her performance the previous night, ?Dancing with the Stars? contestant Melissa Gilbert was absent from the results show on Tuesday (April 10). “Melissa is not here. She did suffer a mild concussion,” Bergeron said during the course of the episode. “On her doctor’s advice she is taking a rest day and if they get through tonight she’ll be able to compete going forward. ” He went on to ask her dancing partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, about his arm injury from Monday?s performance. “Yes, it takes away from the pain in the ankles knees and shoulders,” Chmerkovskiy joked, before turning the attention back to his partner. “I really do hope she’s okay. She’s a fighter, a trooper,” he said of the 47-year-old actress. Meanwhile, Gilbert did tweet her thanks to her partner and fellow contestant, Gavin DeGraw, writing, ?@MaksimC you are my champion. I adore you. @GavinDeGraw bless your heart for carrying me down those stairs!?
