Justin Bieber Sings Out for ‘A Home for the Holidays’
Once again using his star power to help others, Justin Bieber returned to his Canadian homeland to perform at ‘A Home for the Holidays’ in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday night (December 21). The 17-year-old sensation took the stage at Massey Hall for a show in which he performed songs including “Mistletoe” and a new tune “Everything’s Gunna Be Alright” (watch in the player above) while also greeting his young fans and handing over a check to the Children’s Wish FoundationSponsored by Wendy?s International and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, the ‘A Home for the Holidays’ show looks to brighten the future of foster kids, with other acts joining in on the festivities including Mary J Blige, Martina McBride, Katherine Heigl, Christina Perri, Denise Richards, Jillian Michaels, and Gavin DeGraw. Clearly pleased with the goodwill efforts, Justin tweeted after the stage appearance, “Great night. Thanks to all of u we raised $500,000 for @SunnybrookHSC @projectmedishare and @childrens_wish . #giveback”He added a short while later, “Tonight was special. No rules. Music, family, friends, fans, charity, and music. Thank you. #HomeForTheHolidays”
