So nice to see the network standing so strong and supportive in honor of this incredible tragedy. After Spartacus: Blood and Sand star Andy Whitfield lost his battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma early last month, his show’s network, Starz, has released this touching tribute to his life. Please watch (above). President and CEO Chris Albrecht says in a statement:”We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Andy Whitfield. We were fortunate to have worked with Andy in `Spartacus’ and came to know that the man who played a champion on-screen was also a champion in his own life. ” May his memory continue to live on with his family, friends, loved ones, and fans for years and years to come. R. I. P. , Andy. You will be missed.
