‘King of Infomercials’ Don Lapre Found Dead Of Apparent Suicide
Very, very sad. “King of Infomercials” Don Lapre was set to appear in court today over “41 counts of conspiracy and fraud,” as a result of selling a product called The Greatest Vitamin in the World. . . which ended up being not so great. Instead of facing the music, Don chose to end his life, and yesterday he was discovered in “a large amount of blood” in his jail cell. We’re hearing that his death appeared to be a result of cutting. Unfortunately, this doesn’t come as a complete surprise. Here’s what Don had written on his website regarding his major legal trouble:”. . . Because the majority of people did not make money, in spite of everyone of them being able to make as many $1000 checks as they wanted, I am left to fight a battle that will for sure destroy what energy I have left inside. . . “Rest in peace, Don.
