Hmm. Do we smell a franchise brewing for Ben Affleck? Perhaps, perhap!Warner Bros and Universal Pictures have optioned rights to mystery writer Harlan Coben?s thriller Tell No One. The studios have been waiting a long time to adapt one of Harlan’s mystery novels and time has come to make it happen. Ben has been asked to direct the film, which will go into production shortly after he finishes directing Warner Bros’ other project, Argo. It’s rare for studios to co-develop a picture like this, but the deal is Warner Bros will release the film domestically and Universal Pictures International will launch it worldwide. Team effort! Woohoo! We’re not too familiar with Harlan Coben’s work, but we have a feeling that given the strong desire to make one of his stories into a movie, there are plethora of novels to make more movies out of! Maybe this really is the start of something big for Affleck? Thoughts? [Image via WENN. ]
