Mexico to Sell Aeromexico to Citigroup-Led Investors (Update1) (Bloomberg.com)
Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) — Mexico agreed to sell Consorcio Aeromexico SAB, the country’s largest airline, to a group of local investors led by Citigroup Inc.’s Banamex unit for $249 million, ending a monthlong bidding competition involving some of the country’s wealthiest families.
