++ Forbes magazine is reporting that Mexican businessman Carlos Slim is now the richest man in the world… In a single year Slim’s fortune increased by 18. 5 billion dollars, to reach 53. 5 billion dollars, 500 million dollars more than Bill Gates… ++ The behind-the-scenes deal-making political scandal goes on… Now, it was César Nava’s turn to speak out… Also using the Chamber of Deputies as a debate platform, PAN national leader who is also a deputy César Nava challenged his fellow party leader, Beatriz Paredes, who heads the PRI, and the governor of the State of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, to a public debate to clear up what that agreement they signed. Both Beatriz Paredes and César Nava have accepted the lie-detector machine as a test to prove that each is speaking the truth about their agreement that has caused such a scandal… ++ But the State of Mexico Governor Enrique Peña Nieto declined to enter into any debates to avoid heating up an already scalding political situation. ++ Interior Secretary Fernando Gómez Mont is now saying that the anti-alliances agreement between PRI and PAN was to promote governance in Mexico. ++ Mexican President Felipe Calderón urged parties to build a new environment of understanding between powers and parties, so that politics cease to be synonymous with confrontation and paralysis. ++ U. S. Ambassador to Mexico Carlos Pascual said he was committed to fostering actions that lead to employment and economic benefits on the border the two countries share. ++ The Political Affairs board at the Senate agreed to seek to have senators analyze political reform, national security and public security and justice during the current congressional period. ++ The IFE unanimously approved the creation of the Dialogue for the Reconstruction of Mexico, or DIA, front, made up of the PRD and the PT and Convergencia. ++ President Calderón named Gloria Guevara Manzo as new Tourism Secretary… She takes over from Rodolfo Elizondo who was appointed to head efforts in organization and logistics for the Climate Change Convention.

that just proves that Mexicans have money. Mexico is full of guys like carlos slim especially people that have been investing in Mexico real estate over the last 10 years.
