Michelle Williams Lights Up the Empire State Building
Brightening up the room, Michelle Williams lit the Empire State Building with red lights in honor of Go Red for Women and National Wear Red Day on Friday (February 5).
Clad in a sexy red frock, the Destiny’s Child darling had a marvelous time while partaking in the day of action aimed at raising awareness of heart disease, a leading killer among women.
Joining Williams was New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley and Mary Ann McLaughlin, M. D. , president of the New York City chapter of the American Heart Association.
Meanwhile, Miss Williams also recently recorded a song written by a fan who suffers from a brain defect known as a Chiari Malformation.
According to press reports, the 29-year-old joined 15-year-old Sam Campbell to record “Make It Last” in a NYC studio.
Talking about the effort, Michelle tells, “Sam’s song is really good! I wasn’t writing like that at the age of 15. I have to step my game up, for real. ”
