Mexico ended their Copa America campaign on a high with a 3-1 win over Uruguay in the third-place play-off in Caracas. Strikes from Cuauhtemoc Blanco, Omar Bravo and Andres Guardado saw Hugo Sanchez’s side overcome an early goal from Sebastian Abreu and repeat their performances of 1997 and 1999.
