CASTRIES, St. Lucia — Hurricane Dean roared into the eastern Caribbean yesterday, tearing away roofs, flooding streets and causing at least three deaths on small islands as the powerful storm raged toward Jamaica and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.
