Courtney faces New Mexico sentencing (Corvallis Gazette-Times)

The man indicted in the abduction and death of Brooke Wilberger faces sentencing today in an unrelated case in New Mexico. The sentencing of Joel Patrick Courtney, 41, in Albuquerque appears to clear the way for his eventual return to face trial in Oregon.
